The North Jersey Backgammon Club was founded by Pete Jarvis in 2024. We welcome players of all levels, novice, to championship. Our mission includes the promotion of backgammon as a mind sport while providing community outreach.
NJBC holds a weekly tournament on Wednesday evenings at 5:45. They typically end between 9:15 and 9:45. We also hold various events on the 1st, 2nd, & 4th Saturday of the month, beginning at 1:00. We play according to the rules as laid by the United States Backgammon Federation (USBGF) Tournament Rules.
